Full Job Description

Arc's social enterprise, Crescent Cleaning Services provides a supportive and staged route back into employment for those who have experienced homelessness or other marginalised groups. Through training and sufficient support, it equips employees with skills, confidence and training. The team provide a professional and friendly cleaning service and continues to grow. We are looking for a Social Enterprise Supervisor to join our team. The key responsibilities of the role are:

  • To be a motivational role model and to provide support, supervision and coaching for cleaning operatives, ensuring CCS provides a first-class cleaning service and that employees feel confident in work, helping them address a wide range of possible needs, enabling them to continue to achieve positive life changes, improve their health and wellbeing, feel more skilled, confident and equipped to contribute to wider society.

  • To coordinate the day-to-day running of the CCS operational activities and its cleaning contracts both internal and external, to ensure the delivery of responsive, effective and efficient services.

  • To act as an ambassador for Arc and CCS, help develop, maintain and improve partnerships and relationships with key identified agencies and organisations, to help deliver CCS's services, promote our work and improve the quality of life of our cleaning operatives

    Hours:

    25 hours per week to be worked flexibly as required during Monday - Friday, between 8am and 2pm.
    Occasional requirement for early starts, evenings or weekends for which toil or additional payment will be made

    A candidate who understands and has experience of working with people with multiple disadvantage and/or homelessness. You must be empathetic and have a passion to improve the lives of others, with an understanding and commitment towards equality, diversity and inclusion. The ideal candidate will be able to motivate people to improve their skills and build strong working relationships. Candidates must have a full UK driving license.     £29,056 per annum (pro rata)
