Full Job Description

We are seeking to appoint a hard-working, committed individual (School Caretaker, Site Caretaker) to join an existing Site Support team. Duties will include the maintenance and security of all school buildings and regular liaison with external contractors.

Working under the supervision of the Facilities Manager, in a supportive and collaborative team, Site Support at Fortis Academy are pivotal to the successful running of our school, and this is an exciting opportunity to join us in providing outstanding support to our students, staff, and wider school community., This position is subject to appropriate vetting procedures including an online checks and criminal record check from the Disclosure and Barring Service (formerly CRB) which will require you to disclose details of all unspent and unfiltered spent reprimands, formal warnings, cautions and convictions.

Fortis Academy is a very large 11-18 academy serving a local area of high-density housing in Birmingham's outer suburbs. The Academy is the largest employer in the ward, with over 200 employees. Salary: Grade 5 SCP 16 - 20, £23,893 - £25,119 - Pay Award Pending

Working Hours: 37 hours per week, full time, all year
