As a QA Auditor your main responsibilities will be:
+ To work with QST & SHaW colleagues to help achieved joint ISO9001/ISO45001 certification of APHA safety and business management systems in line within an agreed scope
+ To plan and deliver ISO9001 internal audits to help ensure compliance with both standards and facilitate improvements in business processes.
+ Facilitating closure of actions arising in consultation with auditees.
+ Providing advice, guidance and mentoring to APHA colleagues aimed at improving quality and safety management.
+ To assist with planning and completion of external ISO9001 surveillance audits and closure of actions arising in consultation with APHA colleagues.
+ Identifying opportunities for efficiency gains and continual improvement by contributing to harmonisation of methods and procedures across the APHA.
+ To contribute to internal communications (e.g., newsletters, intranet articles) aimed promoting APHA quality and safety cultures.
+ To contribute to quality and safety managements system improvement projects.
+ To contribute to and where necessary facilitate quality and safety management system review meetings.

You'll have relevant experience in:
+ Excellent communication skills both verbally and in writing.
+ Knowledge of Internal Quality Auditing.
+ Knowledge of Quality Standards and their implementation.
+ Specific knowledge of ISO 9001.
