Every day our teams help people in businesses and communities to do what is right and achieve their goals. As a HR Administrator within our HR Shared Services team, you will provide a helpful, highly responsive, efficient and customer friendly support to all employees.

A look into the role

As a People Services Administrator within our People Services Team you will:

  • Work closely with the wider business and key stakeholders to ensure business processes and service level agreements are met.

  • Be responsible for follow up actions and ongoing enquiries, ensuing processes are completed to a high standard and will make appropriate decisions and use your own judgement on work prioritisation ensuring expectations on service delivery can be met.

  • Complete all administration activities within the agreed service level agreements and to an excellent standard

  • Update both manual and electronic personnel records when an employee's personal details change

  • Take responsibility for keeping up to date with Grant Thornton policy and process, developments and changes

  • Ensure correct tone and words are used when responding to clients and that corporate style is adhered to in all written communication

  • Ensure compliance with the Data Protection Act and maintains confidentiality of employee information and the firm's data

  • Support team and department meetings, adding items to the agenda and taking responsibility for actions

    Joining us as a People Services Administrator, the minimum criteria you'll need is experience within administration, working to service level agreements and providing clients and stakeholders with quality services It would be great if you had some of the following skills, but don't worry if you don't tick every box, we'll help you develop along the way.

  • Experience of working in a HR administration function

  • Strong technical skills
