Full Job Description
- Maintenance and repair of HGVs (trucks, trailers, and vacuum tankers), fixed and mobile plant and equipment.
- Preparing and implementing planned maintenance programmes.
- Respond to breakdowns as necessary.
- Liaising with the Transport Manager to ensure Compliance requirements are met.
- Train operatives and drivers to carry out basic maintenance and to report faults and damage as soon as they occur.
· Hold necessary qualifications, and proven skills and experience required to carry out the maintenance and repair of HGVs (trucks, trailers, and vacuum tanks) and plant machinery.
· Good knowledge of auto electrics.
· Ability to work on your own initiative as well as operate as part of a team.
· Ability to multitask and prioritise workload.
· Full, clean driving licence.
The role will be based in the Goole operation, however there may be a requirement for you to travel to alternative locations (Hull or Birkenhead) if business needs require.

We require an onsite mechanic to be based in our Goole operation to work on all maintenance and repairs for our HGV fleet and plant machinery based in Goole.
Salary will be dependent on experience, with significant benefits and bonuses available.

Pay: £38,000.00-£40,000.00 per year
