Full Job Description
- Encouraging children to learn through play, good communication is essential to support children's communication and language as it is one of the pillars of making sure children reach their full potential in school
- We do this via a range of methods, e.g. observing, and recording of individual child's learning and development
- Ensuring the health & well-being of all children at all times
- Providing a safe environment at all times
- Level 3 Early Years Educator
- Paediatric First Aid
- Functional Skills if required
While gaining a Level 3 qualification, you will receive first-hand experiences while developing your professional skills with our dedicated and supportive nursery staff. You will meet and help develop with the most thrilling and stimulating minds in childcare- The children! They will challenge you in different ways, and bring a smile to your face., NVQ or SVQ Level 2 or equivalent Maths, English GCSE (Grade C) Desired
Whilst working within the nursery, the apprentice will work towards obtaining a Level 3 business Administration qualification and complete a course for the Level 3 Paediatric First Aid. We also offer on the job training and other CPD courses if the students is interested.
You could reduce your training time, or finish your apprenticeship faster, if you have relevant prior learning or experience. This could be relevant: - training
- qualifications, like an NVQ in a relevant field
- industry or sector experience
The training you will be getting
Whilst working within the nursery, the Apprentice will work towards obtaining a Level 3 Early Years Educator qualification and completing a course for Level 3 Paediatric First Aid.
Nursery based on the Isle of Dog, small and friendly environment.
The training will take place via teams calls every 4-6 weeks with face-to-face observation sessions being held at the nursery so no day release to college will be required.
