Full Job Description

Could you be the full-time Materials Handler Crewe CRO to work in the Logistics Team we are looking for?, Take on a new challenge working onsite and apply your expertise in in the logisitics team on a shift pattern to cover a 24/7 operation. You'll report to Chris Moran (Stores Manager), and work alongside dedicated and passionate teammates.

You'll maintain the data accuracy of the IT systems (SAP and MAXIMO) by recording all necessary information regarding inventory stock levels, work orders and the tracking of serialised equipment's. The individual is responsible for completing all aspects of the logistics functions daily activities including Off Loading, Goods Receipt and Material Issuing through the appropriate standard process's, whilst maintaining Maximo integrity and liaising with Production to manage the Maximo Maintenance System.

We'll look to you for:

  • Create, update and Complete MAXIMO Work Orders. Within a timely manner to maintain the data integrity of the information within MAXIMO for all work required and completed on the Fleet. Produce work order documentation from MAXIMO for Production to allow work completed to be recorded. Provide support to complete historical analysis in MAXIMO of previous work orders completed.

  • To complete general Stores activities, including Off Loading, Goods In, Material Locating and Material issuing. Use mechanical handling equipment to complete standard tasks and activities within the Stores area, the depot and to support Production where required to ensure the safe completion of activities.

  • Completing accurate material quantity audits for different types of material, ensuring the completion of standard audit documentation and the timely updating of the IT systems to reflect the audit results.

  • Processing unserviceable material from site back to the dedicated repair agents. This includes packaging, labelling and producing the appropriate documentation.

  • Responsible for achieving the desired 5s housekeeping standards on a shift by shift basis by maintaining their working environment to eliminate safety risks, hazards and untidiness. Work with the wider Team to identify continuous improvements to increase the level of storage standards, identify risks and solutions and improve the material flow through the Stores., We value inquisitive, innovative and motivated people who are passionate about working together to reinvent mobility, making it smarter and more sustainable.   • 5 GCSE's Grade C and above, including Maths and English.

  • Desirably currently holds Counter Balance and Flexi Truck licences.

  • Relevant experience required (i.e. directly linked to the requirements of the position/role)

  • 1-3 years' experience within a stores environment

  • Knowledge of SAP and Maximo systems

  • Specialized or cross-functional knowledge / relevant experience required by the position/role

  • Ability to use IT tools such as Excel, Word and MS Office systems
