Full Job Description

You will provide information and guidance to staff and managers on a range of HR topics e.g. staff management policies including annual leave, attendance management, performance management etc. You will also provide HR support at interviews and attend meetings to provide general administrative support as required.,

  • Provide a full administrative support to the HR function / point of contact for admin queries.

  • HR administration duties such as processing starters, leavers (for both employed and self-employed), personnel changes, holiday management and other similar tasks.

  • Ensure all documentation is captured and held on staff profiles.

  • Participate in disciplinaries, grievances and appeals taking notes and all the related administration.

  • Assist the with absence management, including ensuring all self-certification and medical certificates are received and paid accordingly.

  • Ensuring front end directory is up to date, working with H&S, IT, Fleet & Reception.

  • Ensure all correspondence is kept up to date and is sent out in a timely manner.

  • Administrate staff benefits.

  • Any other reasonable requests from Line Manager.


  • The training you will be getting

  • The apprentice will be working towards the HR Support Level 3 Apprenticeship Standard.

  • This apprenticeship is supported by the CIPD Level 3 Foundation Certificate in People Practice.

  • Monthly classroom attendance in Norwich., A position may be available for the right candidate following successful completion of the apprenticeship.

  • The business is looking for somebody who wants to develop and gain a position following their apprenticeship.

    Communication skills, IT skills, Attention to detail, Organisation skills, Customer care skills, Administrative skills, Logical, Team working, Non judgemental, Patience, GCSE or equivalent maths and English (Grade 9-4/A-C) Essential
