Full Job Description
We are recruiting for a Health and Safety Support to join our expanding team based at our head office site in Scunthorpe. The candidate will work 5 days a week from Monday to Friday, 06:00-14:30.,
- Ensure that Risk Assessments/Safe Systems of work/COSHH/MAC requirements are met
- Proactively work with other areas of the business to develop SHE culture
- Conduct daily, weekly and monthly safety audits as well as behavioural observations
- Challenging unsafe behaviours and recognising areas of improvement
- Investigate accidents through contributory factors to identify the root cause
Skills and Knowledge: - IOSH Managing Safely or equivalent required
- A knowledge of ISO is desired
- NEBOSH General Certificate (advantageous)
- Machinery knowledge (advantageous)
- Capable of working in a culturally diverse environment
