Full Job Description

This role is a key role ensuring that the business's compliance to fleet and transport processes and regulations are monitored and results communicated to all key stakeholders. This role is accountable for optimising and documenting the design of all vehicles and ensuring the fleet is optimised driving the best possible customer and financial results.
Accountabilities:

  • O license holder and accountable for compliance including registering on low emission zones, relations with DVSA, maintaining vehicle administration.

  • Weight check provision for the small vehicle fleet.

  • Compliance to O licence requirements through the management of Digitacho, vehicle downloads and driver infringement reporting. (WTD)

  • Maintenance of the fleet database and external partners systems (MARS / Ford live).

  • Cold chain validation, mapping and calibration programs to ensure compliance to GDP requirements.

  • Accountable for the transport operation audit programme including agreeing audit format, frequency and communication of results and corrective actions.

    National CPC holder (preferred).

  • Experience auditing transport operations.

  • Has a background in transport operations.

  • Flexibility to travel to required business locations to work with management teams as dictated by the role requirements.

  • Excellent problem solving skills.

  • Highly analytical with the ability to understand and communicate large pools of data

  • Hold others to account and maintain high standards.
