Facilities Assistant (Maintenance)

The role of Facilities Assistant (Maintenance) is in place to help ensure high standards of building preventative and reactive maintenance across multiple Rennie Grove Peace sites in Hertfordshire and Buckinghamshire. You will work at Peace Hospice, Watford but will be required to travel to all Rennie Grove Peace sites so a car and driving licence will be essential.

You will need to demonstrate your abilities in the following areas:

• Planned and reactive building maintenance to ensure a welcoming and safe premises for our patients, visitors, volunteers, and staff.


• Regular building and equipment inspections to meet health and safety requirements.


• Supervision of contractors and volunteers.


• Acting as a Rennie Grove Peace ambassador within the community.
