Chef

Support the Head Chef and Sous Chef in the delivery of the entire Restaurant menu including Hot, Cold, Farmshop, Pondside and Bakery.

- Deliver the daily operation ensuring food is plated and run to customers in a timely manner including cooking from fresh, reheating, cooking, heating, cooling and freezing in line with regulations

- Communicate any menu changes to the Front of House team in the absence of the Head Chef and Sous Chef

- Compliant with food safety and hygiene in the kitchen

- Work at a fast pace to deliver high volume meals without compromising quality

- Work with the Head Chef and Sous Chef to understand targets in line with the departmental P&L

- Responsible for ensuring the stock levels are adequate in line with Head Chef and kitchen needs

- Compliant with allergen monitoring and reporting

- Work with the Head Chef to analyse wastage

- Communicate any menu changes/stock gaps to Front of House teams daily

- Maintain a clean and tidy kitchen area, cleaning and sanitizing food preparation areas when needed

- Put food stock deliveries away in line with kitchen compliance and regulations

- Maintain a calm and professional manner in the open kitchen environment

You will be an enthusiastic and talented team player, with good base of skill and experience. You will be assisting delivery of the day-to-day operations within the kitchen and creating exceptional delicacies for the Restaurant, Pondside Café and Farmshop., Experience working in a fast-paced environment

- Great communication skills with the ability to work well with a team

- Food Hygiene level 1 & 2

- Level 2 Certificate / Diploma in Culinary Skills
