Full Job Description

The overall purpose of this role is to:

  • Assist qualified staff in the implementation of patient care programmes

  • Develop towards assisting the registered nurse in the planning of patient care

  • Carry out a range of patient care tasks in support of and supervised by a registered nurse

  • Record information detailing patient care given, under supervision of registered nurse

  • Monitor and maintain equipment and environment of the unit, under supervision of registered nurse

  • In conjunction with the registered nurse provide support to more junior colleagues

    We are looking to recruit Care Support Workers who are motivated and proactive. Experience working within a health care setting or with children is essential.
